This 17,000 square foot facility is located on the third floor of the Child Development Centre on the University of Calgary Campus, designed to host a breadth of programs and services for adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The design intent was to create an environment that is welcoming and non-clinical for its users. The materials, finishes, and color palette selected are mindful of what might upset, discourage, and/or cause chaos to an adolescents living with Autism.
Design was completed in association with Kasian Architecture Interior Design & Planning Ltd.
