Oh styled shoots I could fall hard for you! What a unique and creative way to showcase your design aesthetic and ideas while collaborating with professionals in the industry. This was my first styled shoot and I sense it’s like a tattoo in once you get one under your belt you can’t stop thinking about the next one! I couldn’t be happier with the final outcome because it was exactly as I envisioned and more, but the cherry on top is that we were featured on 100 Layer Cake
The inspiration behind this shoot was to combine our love of home decor with our love of weddings! Bright, modern + architectural elements such as custom built furniture paired perfectly with designer furniture, colorful florals, and original artwork were a nod to this real-life couple’s playful personality.
We also love the idea of having your home decor double as wedding decor! Whether it’s incorporating your favourite books, accessories, or furniture pieces that remind you past of holidays and family dinners; there’s something so sweet + sentimental about being surrounded by your favourite things on your wedding day. Not to mention, a great way to really personalize your wedding venue.

Shout out to my husband Riley for co-designing and building the custom bookcase and table used in the shoot. Allie + Blayke, you were a dream to work with and the most lovely couple.
